1. Create the application
First, create a profile or use an existing login. Next, provide project and budget information and upload any relevant documents into the application form. You can save the application as a draft and return to it before submitting it.
2. Submit the application
If an application complies with the formal requirements it will be submitted for the first upcoming board meeting. If there are any questions for an application, or if it is incomplete, the New Carlsberg Foundation will attempt to contact the applicant before the final submission to the board. Generally, there are no deadlines for application.
3. Board meeting
Applications are reviewed by the board of the New Carlsberg Foundation, which meets approximately once every three weeks. All applications are reviewed on the basis of the board’s professional knowledge of art and in accordance with the foundation charter.
4. Reply
Once the board has reached a decision about the application, the applicant will receive a reply via the New Carlsberg Foundation’s application system. If the application is approved, the subsequent handling of the case also takes place via the application system. No explanation is provided if an application is declined.
