About Anders Byriel
Anders Byriel (1965) holds an LL.M. and an EMBA, and is a 2019 Graduate from Harvard Business School YPO programme and CEO of Kvadrat A/S.
Anders Byriel has been CEO of Kvadrat A/S since 1998. From 1992 to 1998, he held various positions in Kvadrat, including Head of Global Sales. Before joining Kvadrat, Anders Byriel was employed at the law firm Thomsen, Barkholt and Vestergaard in Aarhus, while he graduated with a Master's degree in law from Aarhus University in 1992.
Anders Byriel has served on the boards of Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and the Louisiana Foundation, among others. Anders Byriel was vice-chairman of Aarhus 2017 European Capital of Culture and was a member of the board of JP/Politikens Hus from 2013 - 2021. He has also been chairman of the Danish Design Council 2007 - 2012 and has been chairman of various companies including ReD Associates.
