The purpose of the New Carlsberg Foundation’s Research Initiative is to generate new research-based knowledge about art while building a connection between university and art institution research.
The foundation offers three different types of fellowships: PhD fellowships, postdoc fellowships and individual projects. Both PhD and postdoc fellowships must be applied by an art museum/exhibition venue. The individual projects must be applied by an individual candidate.
