The New Carlsberg Foundation supports the publication of, for example, artist monographs and academic art history publications, including exhibition catalogues. All publication support is provided on the condition that the publication will be published within two years from the date of approval of the application.
The New Carlsberg Foundation supports exhibition catalogues accompanying Danish artists’ exhibitions abroad.
The application must contain:
- A project description with a synopsis and table of contents. If the application concerns an artist’s book, the synopsis and table of contents can be omitted.
- CV of the authors/artists involved, extending to a maximum of one standard page (2,400 characters with spaces).
- A budget and financing plan, including information on any co-financing and any other funding applied for/granted (if applicable).
- Marketing and distribution plan.
If the application concerns a research-based publication, peer reviews must be planned for the contributions to the publication.
