Educational activities constitute a cornerstone of the New Carlsberg Foundation’s efforts to present ‘living art for living people", as the foundation’s founder, brewer Carl Jacobsen, put it. Hence, the foundation provides support for the creation of publications which can contribute to new insights into the many histories of art and make art accessible and relevant to a wide audience.

Support is provided for the publication of dissemination publications, including artist monographs and exhibition catalogues, research-based publications, artists’ books, journals and foreign publications about Danish art.

Three annual application deadlines. For specific dates, see under ‘Application deadlines’.
